About Al-Safaah Seminary
Al Safah Islamic Seminary an Islamic school located in the Center of Mtwara Town behind the Regional Library, with easy communication to the city by road and by public transport. It is housed in a purpose-built building with modern learning facilities designed for Secondary School Education for the inhabitants of Mtwara and the surrounding regions
It is our belief that a strong partnership between home and school is vital to the success of our students. The collaborative efforts of our incredibly dedicated and talented staff and parents serves to enhance the elementary experience for our children. It is our goal to nurture healthy, socially responsible citizens who recognize themselves as valuable members of our school and global community.

I am very proud to be the Headteacher of this wonderful school. It is truly a unique and outstanding institution that offers a rich curriculum and that follows the Islamic moral of education.
Our warm and purposeful atmosphere, combined by the dedication and talent of the staff and the enthusiasm of the students. As well as our focus on the moral intellectual achievement of each student, we are committed to enhancing their enjoyment and interest in the whole school experience. We offer a comprehensive program of sports, Arabic, as well as Quran lessons to our students.
Above all, and just as much as much as any parent, I want our children to thrive and be happy throughout their time with us. My personal motto is Excellence in everything we do, and this resonates across our school compound and drives high expectations and standards from everyone in the country.
In addition to well maintained buildings and attractive facilities we are working together to provide a challenging and engaging learning environment so that each student has the opportunity to achieve his or her fullest potential. Al Safah Islamic Seminary consistently achieves good results and we have many of our graduates in different higher learning institutions.
This is a school that students and staff want to come to each day. Thanks to our high standards of behavior, teachers are teaching and students keen to learn.
