About Moshi Branch

Direct Aid Society formerly known as  Africa Muslims Agency (A.M.A) is a non governmental organization in Tanzania, in Kilimanjaro region, the organization started its operation in 1997  and the construction at the center started when the then Vice President of the United Republic of Tanzania Dr. Omari Ali Juma who laid the foundation stone on 27/2/1997 .

After the laying of the foundation the center continued to operate until 2002 when it was officially opened by Al-haji prof. Juma Athumani Kapuya Who was then the Minister for Works, youth development and Sports on Thursday  14/3/2002.

SCHOOLS UNDER MOSHI BRANCH

Kaloleni Islamic Seminary is a girls only islamic high school. It is set in the areas of KalolenI in Moshi Municipality. Its student population is drawn mainly from the areas of Moshi and its surroundings although some students come from as far as Tanga.

Al-Huda English Medium Primary School is located in Moshi Municipality in Kilimanjaro Region. It is a core primary school operated under the Islamic norms. It is a day school of a special kind in form of infrastructure and other facilities. The location of school is reasonably good as it is accessible from various direction by using private and public transport within Moshi town.
