About Mus’ab English Medium

Mus’ab English Medium Primary School is a community of learners including students, parents and staff who are dedicated to prosper academically, culturally caring Islamic learning environment. We are Reaching Excellence in Academics and Changing History!

Together, we are champions of knowledge, our Students, the environment and of our staff at Mus’ab English Mediums are goal-oriented, critical thinkers and community leaders who are dedicated to achieving the highest level of integrity and academic success.

The administration and staff are committed to providing a challenging and supportive learning environment where all students can succeed and reach their full potential.

Every member participates in cycles of continuous learning and improvement that includes establishing high expectations, goal setting, planning, action and reflection.

We develop a culture of excellence that includes a robust instructional program aligned to the Common NACTE Standards  with a focus on implementing Balanced Literacy through Reading and Writing Workshop, as well as by building language, literacy and competency across all subject areas.

To this end, we seek to develop well-rounded students who exemplify Islamic moral teachings, wellness and character development using our the Standards of our Organziation Direct Aid Society which looks at improving the lives of Tanzanians through educatioin.

Through discovery, exploration, innovation, and creative expression through Arts integration and Islamic moral teachings including the study of arabic language, students receive rich, extended learning opportunities while building a positive school culture where every member feels valued and respected.

Through coaching, collaboration and building professional learning communities, we offer staff professional development training to build teachers capacity to improve instructional practices and to accelerate student achievement.

Finally, we support a community schools approach that organizes and maximizes resources from the school and community based partnerships to ensure every student thrives and to support student success in alignment with the school priorities.

On behalf of the staff at Mus’ab English Medium Primary School, I am happy to welcome you to our School, We are looking forward to a productive partnership with you to ensure our children can achieve their highest potential. We recognize that to be successful in school, our children need support from both home and school.

We know a strong partnership with the parents, the public and the Government will make a significant difference in our students education. As partners, we share the responsibility for our children’s success and want you to know that we will do our very best to carry out our responsibilities.

in order to acheive this the parents need to make sure that the student;

• Attends school daily and arrives on time, ready for the day’s learning experience

• Completes all homework assignments given by teachers

• Reads daily to develop a love for reading and to improve literacy skills

• Shares school experiences with their parents/guardians so that they are aware of his/her school life

• Informs the parents/guardians if he/she needs additional support in any area or subject

• Knows that the parents/guardians expect him/her to succeed in school and go on to college / university

We at Mus’ab promise the student to get;

• Deep Learning in all subjects across the school

• Introduction to Mathematics Mastery

• Improved observation and assessment always

• Generate students’ interest in Mathematics and all other subjects

• Promote excellent writing and reading skills

• Use of Emotional Intelligence in supporting the welfare of children

The school has an improved behavior management system, and this is supposed to help the children to show excellent attitude towards learning and other people.
